From a young age, Jahnathan has always been fascinated by the multitude of forms life can take and has taken in the past. Since then, he strives to depict and create captivating creatures — from extant and extinct animals to exotic fantasy beings — in his art. When designing creatures, he keeps important characteristics in mind, ones that are easy for the viewer to spot, so they can get a sense of how the animal moves, behaves, and survives. In his practice, he pushes the boundaries of the various forms life can take by analyzing the animals of today.
